‘Digi-Kaksha’: Arunachal Pradesh Introduced First Smart Government School

ITANAGAR: On May 27, the "Digi-kaksha: A Sustainable Smart Govt School" initiative was introduced in Arunachal Pradesh. The Upper Primary School in NTC Deomali hosted the official launch of this initiative, which aims to modernize the educational system and close the digital divide between technology and education.

Meanwhile, this ground-breaking effort, led by IAS Vishakha Yadav, the additional deputy commissioner of Deomali, is expected to alter how students learn in the area.

With pre-loaded, innovative syllabus for Classes Nursery to 12, this ground-breaking technology offers an immersive educational experience that is in line with the CBSE curriculum.

With interactive question banks, PhET simulations, and virtual experiments, the curriculum is designed to meet the needs of slow and average learners.

Taking on twitter Arunachal Pradesh Chief Minister wrote, “Arunachal Pradesh introduces its first smart government school, Digi-kaksha. It offers an immersive learning experience with cutting-edge technology. Pre-loaded creative content for Classes Nursery to 12, aligned with CBSE curriculum. #DigiKaksha “

On the other hand IAS Vishakha Yadav informed that, “Project Digi-kaksha inaugurated by H'ble PHE Min Sh @wangki_lowang sir to control drop-outs, bridge gap between technology and students:

*Customised innovative lectures on 4K Interactive Android Teaching Board

*Volunteer led Remedial evening classes

*Classes Nur-XII

*BALA Model “

Furthermore, Digi-kaksha, which is based on the Building as a Learning Aid (BALA) principle, encourages active learning and seeks to give all students equal access to a quality education.

The project empowers youngsters, especially those with special needs, by supporting their early educational development through phonetics, animated movies, and practical demonstrations.

ADC Vishakha Yadav provides information on the after-school programme Pathshala, which is run by volunteers and aims to reintegrate dropouts into the educational system.

She cites the project's success as a response to worries over low academic performance and rising dropout rates. She attributes this to the collaborative efforts of numerous departments and stakeholders.

To ensure ongoing improvement, Digi-kaksha also incorporates teacher training workshops and regular assessments.
