District-level consultative meeting on lead bank held under Deputy Commissioner K Tikhak's chairmanship

Itanagar: The district level consultative meeting on functioning of all banks falling under lead bank was held under the chairmanship of West Siang deputy commissioner K Tikhak on Tuesday.

Addressing the officials, Tikhak said that that banking institution has a pivotal role to provide loan to beneficiaries as per government directives and recover drive as well and exhorted all banks to play their proactive roles, an official release informed.

The lead district manager of State Bank of India lead bank office Rebot Chandra Patir spelt out the activities and functioning of all banks under it and stressed on mitigating the yearly targets set by the government. The head of offices attending the meeting spelt out their problems and urged all banks to assist timely sanctioning of various loans to the selected beneficiaries, the release added.
