ANINI: The District Rural Development Agency (DRDA) organized a daylong sensitization-cum-coordination meeting of the PRI (Panchayati Raj Institution) leaders of Dibang valley district at DC Conference hall, here on February 9.
While congratulating the elected PRI leaders, DRDA Project Director Lijum Ete requested them to help the officials of the DRDA.
"As the district is vast and the villages are spread over a large area, I request the elected PRI leaders to support the department. Your necessary cooperation will make the programmes of DRDA successful in the district," he said.
Meanwhile, Zilla Parishad Chairman (ZPC) Theko Tayu requested the GPC members to not only coordinate with the officials in the developmental matters but also to take up social issues in their respective segments too.
