Dr Kinni Singh new East Siang DC in Arunachal

ITANAGAR: Dr Kinni Singh has taken charge as the new deputy commissioner of East Siang district in Arunachal Pradesh. She is a 2015-batch IAS officer of the AGMUT cadre.

Singh completed her BHMS from Delhi University. Before joining as DC East Siang, she had served as Special Secretary (WCD) and Mission Director of National Health Mission in the Health and Family Welfare department of the State, an official release informed here.

After assuming the charge, Dr Singh assured to prioritize transparent and clean administration.

“All government schemes and projects will be implemented in letter and spirit and special attention will be given to education, health, tourism and disaster management,” she said.

“Timely completion of all ongoing developmental works, execution of pending projects, welfare schemes and resolving public grievances and issues will remain on my priority,” Singh said adding, her administration would try the best to bring all the benefits of state and central policies to the grassroots level. The new DC asked the employees to maintain discipline, punctuality and to be more responsive to the public for all-round development of the state and native at large by walking extra miles.

Meanwhile, the outgoing DC Tamiyo Tatak after handing over his charges attended a farewell function convened by the officers of DC’s establishment.

SP Prashant Gautam, ADC Tatdo Borang, administration and police officers and staffs were also present on the occasion.

Tatak will proceed to Itanagar shortly with his new assignment as Director of Civil Aviation, the release added.
