Exposure visit for students to Integrated Control & Command Centre (ICCC) of Pasighat Smart City Mission

PASIGHAT: The Pasighat Smart City Development Corporation Limited (PSCDCL) organized an exposure visit for the school students to the Integrated Control & Command Centre (ICCC) of Pasighat Smart City Mission here today.

The objective of organizing the exposure visit was to spread awareness about the functioning and benefit of ICCC for the citizens of Pasighat, wherein

demonstration of various components of the Control & Command Centre was explained and hands-on training on usage of the Emergency Call Box was also given.

This was organized as part of the Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav (AKAM) celebration commemorating the 75th year of India's Independence.

The event was attended by more than 100 Students and escorted by teachers from Government Secondary School, Balek, Siang Model School, Pasighat and Angun Asir Academy, Pasighat.

Interacting with the students, the CEO of PSCDCL Dr Manjuli Komut urged the participating students and teachers alike to extend cooperation in good upkeep of ICCC field components which is a priceless public asset created under Pasighat Smart City Mission.

The asset will prove very beneficial in long run for the citizen of Pasighat once optimum utilization of the facility is attained.

The Project Engineer, Sachin Bulaki presented in detail ICCC components and dedicated efforts put by the manpower at ICCC to prevent all types of criminal activities, thefts etc.

Video clips captured through 179 CCTVs installed in various locations of the city were displayed and explained the extent of the utility of ICCC to solve accidental and theft cases by providing evidence.

It was also highlighted that ICCC has installed an emergency calling box at 10 different locations from where anyone can contact ICCC in any emergency by just pressing a button which is installed in the CCTV camera pole.
