ITANAGAR: Ahead of assembly polls due next year, the Arunachal Pradesh unit of the BJP underwent a reshuffle of its state office bearers and state morcha presidents. The reshuffle, executed by state president Biyuram Wahge, saw the appointment of key party members to strategic roles. The decisions were officially ratified by the central BJP office in New Delhi, a party statement said here on Friday. While Tadar Niglar has been designated as the state general secretary, Romin Babom and Dotum Sora have been entrusted with the roles of state secretaries. These appointments, in line with the party's vision, have been greenlit by the central BJP office, the statement said. In a comprehensive overhaul that underscores the party's commitment to diversity and inclusion, several state morcha presidents have been named. While Kohman Lungphii Ngemu has been chosen to lead the Mahila Morcha as state president, Ritemso Manyu assumes the mantle of state president of Yuva Morcha, and Gumsen Lollen has been tasked with the responsibilities of state president of Kisan Morcha.
Kame Yangfo is at the helm as state president of ST Morcha, while Sambu Siongju has taken up the mantle of state president of Minority Morcha. These designations were accorded the stamp of approval from the central BJP office, the statement added.
