ITANAGAR: Rakhe Agam Dui, the first female rider of the Arunachal Bullet Club (ABC), created another record on Thursday by reaching Huri, one of the remote villages in Kurung Kumey district on her bike.

Huri village falls under the Damin circle of Kurung Kumey district.

The tedious journey from Itanagar carrying a theme "Tribute Tour" to Huri village was to display appreciation to the Indian Army guarding the border on the occasion of 74th Republic Day. The young rider also participated in an event organised to mark the Republic Day celebrations at Huri, where the Indian Army distributed materials such as geometry boxes, notebooks, pencils, etc to school children. She was also present during the flag-hoisting ceremony.

Dui is an active member of the Arunachal Bullet Club since 2017. She has been proactively participating in several awareness events with her club and has taken part in numerous riding events in the past.

In the year 2021, after the Covid19 phase subsided, she along with her long-time female rider friend Elizabeth Riba rode for 33 days traversing eight states in North India including, Uttarakhand, Haryana, Punjab, Jammu & Kashmir and Rajasthan spreading awareness on racism and women empowerment.
