Friday for Future Arunachal unit stages climate strike

ITANAGAR: In an endeavor to create awareness on protection of environment, 'Friday for Future Arunachal unit' on Friday staged first-ever 'climate strike' in front of the State Civil Secretaries Itanagar.

Holding placards with messages and slogan for the protection of the environment, students, youths and well-wishers joined the climate strike.

Holding placards with messagesays to let our national and State governments know of our demand to address the ongoing climate crisis and ecological breakdowns.

In climate strike, school students skip their classes on every Friday to participate in demonstrations to demand action from political leaders to take action to prevent climate change, Komboh added.
