Governor Brig (retd) Dr BD Mishra meets Rajnath Singh to discuss security and other vital issues

Itanagar: Arunachal Pradesh Governor Brig (retd) Dr BD Mishra, who is on an official tour to the national capital, met Union Home Minister Rajnath Singh on Thursday and discussed security and other vital issues pertaining to the State. The Governor briefed the Union Home Minster about the law and order in the State and recent incidences where eleven people were massacred in Tirap district, a Raj Bhawan communiqué informed. While thanking Singh for the adequate security forces provided to the State Government for conduct of the parliamentary and Assembly elections, Dr Mishra emphasised on strengthening the security apparatus in the disturbed districts of Arunachal Pradesh. The Union Home Minister assured to address the issues at the earliest.
