Himalayan University rusticates several students for various offences during ongoing annual examination

Itanagar: The Himalayan University, a private university in Arunachal Pradesh capital, has rusticated several students for various offences committed during the varsity’s ongoing annual examination.

Three BA third year students have been rusticated for three years for sending proxy candidates on their behalf, while a BA first year student has been rusticated for physically assaulting the invigilator after he was caught cheating during the exam. The university’s authority has warned that it would not tolerate any misbehaviour by the students, a press release informed here on Tuesday.
