Hydropower to make Arunachal Pradesh ‘Atmanirbhar’, says Governor K. T. Parnaik

ITANAGAR: Arunachal Pradesh Governor K. T. Parnaik has said that hydropower will make Arunachal Pradesh ‘Atma Nirbhar’ in the true sense. The governor made the comment when Union Minister of Power and New and Renewable Energy Raj Kumar Singh, along with chief minister Pema Khandu and his deputy Chowna Mein, called on him at Raj Bhavan, here on Saturday. Parnaik complimented Singh for his initiative in reviving the process of harnessing the vast hydropower potential of the state. He also congratulated Khandu, Mein, and their team for the hydropower initiative.

The governor conveyed gratitude to the central government under Prime Minister Narendra Modi for focusing on the overall development of Arunachal Pradesh.
