Itanagar Capital Region DC Talo Potom holds meeting with drug rehabilitation centres

ITANAGAR: ICR (Itanagar Capital Region) Deputy Commissioner Talo Potom convened a virtual meeting with in-charges of drug rehabilitation centres under ICR. The meeting was attended by IMC-Mayor Tame Phassang, Capital Superintendant of Police Jimmy Chiram, among other officers to discuss measures to check the menace of drugs. Assuring all possible assistance and cooperation towards rehabilitation centres, DC further requested everyone to cooperate with the district administration and police to eradicate the drug menace. Earlier, pouring his suggestion to check drug menace in ICR, Tame Phassang said that an effective approach should be traced out to root out the cause of the drug menace. 

He said a strong mechanism in this regard needs to be worked out while extending his cooperation for the establishment of a rehab centre in the Itanagar Capital with all the required facilities.
