Itanagar: Several houses gutted after 7 LPG cylinder blast rock Nyokum Lapang

Itanagar Fire Station officer Koj Taro informed that they immediately rushed to the spot after receiving the news around 8.23 am. One fire tender with crew members immediately proceeded to the area and later another fire tender was sent. Both fire tenders were pressed into service. Due to timely action, several dwellings were saved from the huge ablaze, informed Taro.

There is no report of any loss of life in the incident, Taro said.

The loss assessment could only be made after proper verification and inquiry and the report will be submitted to the administration and higher authority, Taro added.
