Jan Sunwai Sammelan organized at Tawang: Arunachal Pradesh

TAWANG, Aug 1: In its bid to bring the administration to the doorstep of the public, the second edition of Jan Sunwai Sammelan was organized at Tawang district where various services were brought under one single roof for the public on Wednesday.

Blockades at various locations owing to incessant rainfall could not deter the spirit of the head of departments (HoDs) and their staff from reaching the venue early in the morning for successful conduct of the Sammelan.

The event witnessed overwhelming response from the public of Mukto and the nearby villages. A large number of villagers who were enlightened on various government initiatives, enrolled themselves under Social Security Schemes (SSS) to avail multifarious services being rendered. Earlier, DC Tawang Sang Phuntsok had passed strict instruction for mandatory presence of all HoDs for resolving grievances and ensuring on the spot delivery of services.
