JDU will outnumber other parties, says MLA Techi Kasso

DOIMUKH: MLA Techi Kasso on Friday addressed a well-attended mass rally of Janata Dal United (JDU) contesting candidate Techi Rakap for the post of Zilla Parishad Member (ZPM) under Doimukh- II Zilla constituency at Doimukh general ground here.

Addressing the gathering, Kaso appealed people to avoid discrimination on party ground. He said the misunderstanding and argument among brother and sister during elections should be shut down.

"We all have the right to vote, one should exercise his/her adult franchise according to own choice," he said, adding that elections should conclude with harmony among the people.

He said, though the election is on the day nearby Christmas celebration, it is the 'sign of god' that the party will win outnumber the rest political parties in the ensuing PRI and Municipal election.

While seeking support for the entire candidates of JDU, State JDU president Ruhi Tagung said that the JDU and BJP are alliance and brother in support.

He said there was no proposal by State BJP for contesting the Panchayati Raj Institution & Municipality election together. But being an alliance party, the election should be taken as a friendly contest among the friends, he added.

Tagung also appealed to the BJP contestant to restrain from threatening the JDU contestant during the election campaign.

"Like the general election, we hope by the mandate of the public, the party will come up with the maximum numbers of win in Panchayat as well as Municipal election," he said, requesting the party leaders to be dedicated towards their individual responsibility.

JDU has won 7 seats in the general assembly election.

Meanwhile, ZPM candidate Techi Rakap requested the public to choose the correct candidate with potentiality to take along the people to development.

He also shared his vision to provide better education, health and development facilities to the public if elected as ZPM.
