Legislator provides Rs 35 lakh in cash for development

Itanagar: Yachuli legislator Likha Saaya on Saturday provided a sum of Rs 35 lakh in cash for the development of Kugi Tago Panchayat Segment, Pistana Circle, Yachuli areas.

Accompanied by EEs, PWD and RWD along with AE, PHED and members of Vistarak, BJYM, Mahila Morcha, Ex ZPMs, ASMs, public leaders of Lower Subansiri, the programme aimed to reach the unreached and to address the public’s grievances at their own place. Since last two months, Saaya has been extensively touring to the furthest and remote villages under his constituency.

Responding to five-point memorandum which includes the adequate supply of safe drinking water and power, up-gradation of link roads, Saaya also asserted that electrification and drinking water issues will be solved within this month and directed the accompanying engineers to initiate action in this regard on a priority basis.
