Lego inaugurated Khadi exhibition organized in Arunachal

NAMSAI: Namsai S.D.O. Orin Lego inaugurated the Khadi exhibition organized by Arunachal Pradesh Khadi & Village Industries Board (APK&VIB) in collaboration with Department of Industries, Govt. of Arunachal Pradesh here at Namsai Town club on Friday.

Various products of beneficiaries under Prime Minister Employment Programme (PMEGP) from West Siang, East Siang, Lower Subansiri, Papumpare and Namsai District took part in the exhibition with their traditional products. Lego in his address applauded the efforts of the department to show case various hand loom and industry products made by various indigenous groups of the state. He said, “Such exhibition not only promotes the creativity but will immensely help to boost up rural economy and exchange of culture.”
