Guwahati: Six-time world champion MC Mary Kom on Wednesday launched a biography named ''Cop With A Golden Heart Robin Hibu''.

Apart from Mary Kom, Mahatma Gandhi's granddaughter Tara Gandhi too was present on the occasion.

Notably, Robin Hibu is the first IPS officer from Arunachal Pradesh (AP).

After a thorough research for nearly two years, noted Delhi-based author Thanmi Khamrang wrote the biography and the same has been published by the Walnut Publication of Chennai.

The biography displays the struggles of Robin Hibu in fighting against all odds and unique initiatives of the ''Helping Hands' for northeastern citizens residing in the city.

As per the reports, the biography will also be translated in Hindi by the Rashtriya Satya Desh Publication and will be available online on retail stores such as Amazon and Flipkart.

Reportedly, it has also come to the fore that Rs 10 earned per book will be donated to 'Helping Hands'.

Robin Hibu, the first IPS officer from AP, has successfully feats to tackle racism experienced by people of northeast in other parts of country, especially in Delhi.
