Meeting held on Special Summary Revision at Tezu

ITANAGAR, Aug 30: A meeting was held regarding ongoing Special Summary Revision, 2018-2019 at DC conference hall, Tezu on Thursday. The meeting was chaired by DC cum DEO, Karma Leki and attended by ERO, AERO (HQ), AERO (Sunpura), BLOs, Master Trainers of EVM and SVEEP, representatives of political parties of 44 Tezu-Sunpura Assembly Constituency. At the outset of the meeting, ERO Priscilla Tayeng explained briefly, the purpose of the meeting. She informed everyone that, as per the ECI’s directives, the scheduled date for Special Summary Revision of photo electoral roll 2019 of intensive nature w.r.t. 01-01-2019 as qualifying date has been fixed from September 1 to October 31, 2018. “The ECI has also directed to submit all kinds of forms through compulsory online system i.e. National Voter’s Service Portal (NVSP) through www.nvsp.in”, she further informed.

The DC cum DEO Karma Leki emphasized on compulsory registration of forms through NVSP portal on the day. Speaking on the importance of BLOs in the revision process, he urged the BLOs of concern polling station to sensitize and encourage every citizen of the Assembly Constituency for applying online through NVSP portal.
