Meeting on Arunachal Rising held at Tezu

TEZU: The first district level consultative meeting on ‘Arunachal Rising Campaign’ was held in the office of the Deputy Commissioner Tezu in Lohit district on Wednesday. Addressing the meeting, DC Karma Leki, briefed the gathering about the Arunachal Rising Campaign 2018, which is a two-month comprehensive publicity campaign of the Government of Arunachal Pradesh, wherein information will be disseminated about the various state and central flagship programme at the grassroots level for the awareness of the people.

The campaign will be executed through various outreach programs. In the meeting elaborate plans were discussed to make Arunachal Rising campaign a real success in the district. DDSE Tezu, was asked to identify co-coordinators from each secondary and senior secondary school for dissemination of information regarding the programme to the school students and also necessary arrangement to be made to conduct quiz and other literary activities in all the schools.

Karma instructed DMO Tezu to select the best ASHA workers, DD ICDS to select best Anganwadi workers and DDA, DVO and DHO Tezu, to identify best progressive farmers for the matter pertaining to the selection process.
