Meeting on Greenfield Airport

ITANAGAR: A coordination meeting was convened by Deputy Commissioner of Papumpare district Joram Beda at Yupia on Friday to discuss the land acquisition matters for the construction of Greenfield airport at Hollongi under Balijan circle in Papumpare District.

Members of All Arunachal Pradesh Students’ Union (AAPSU), All Nyishi Students Union (ANSU), All Nyishi Youth Association (ANYA), All Papumpare District Students Union (APPDSU), Land Owners, Superintendent of police Tumme Amo along with other district officials attended the meeting.

A threadbare discussion on airport and compensation related issues were discused.

Joram Bida highlighted the important of the project and said that Arunachal is the only State in the country which doesn’t have a airport and urged all to cooperate with the district administration so that the project sees the light of the day.
