Itanagar: Meghalaya Chief Minister Conrad K Sangma accompanied by Deputy Chief Minister of Manipur Joy Kumar Singh, Home Minister of Meghalaya James Sangma, along with MLAs Wailad Shylla, Rupert Momin and co-chairman of Meghalaya State Planning Board BS Sangma will arrive here on May 10 to interact with the MLAs and MPs candidates and party leaders.

Sangma is the National President of National People’s Party (NPP).

NPP State unit president Gicho Kabak has directed to all the MLAs and MPs candidates, state office bearer and frontal heads of the party to attend the interaction programme on the day, a party release informed.

Sangma will also address a press conference during the day. The party had fielded 30 MLA candidates and one MP candidate in Arunachal Pradesh, polling for which was held on April 11 last. The NPP is an alliance partner with BJP-led governments in various North East states under the North East Democratic Alliance (NEDA).
