Itanagar: Ziro-Hapoli MLA Tage Taki has urged Railways Minister Piyush Goyal to immediately conduct an inquiry into the death of Arunachalee youth, Tage Dule.

He urged the Union Minister to arrest those culprits involved in the incident by ‘any means’ and give them exemplary punishment. “This is not an isolated case, but a part of the continuing discrimination against the people of North-East Indian origin. It is really saddening that our people, who are among the most patriotic Indians, have to face such maltreatment in mainland India,” Tage wrote to the railway minister.

“Loss of a promising young man in this way is tragic and nothing can make up for it. However, the least the government and the society can do is to give justice to him and his family members,” Tage said while urging Goyal to initiate immediate necessary action to find out the perpetrators of the crime.
