Minor girl rescued in Arunachal

ITANAGAR: A 10-old-girl was rescued in Kimin on January 29, following a complaint of sexual abuse. After receiving a call at the Childline toll free number, a team comprising of Childline Itanagar, the DCPU, Yupia and the Papum Pare District police swung into action and rescued the girl. The team later produced the child before the Child Welfare Committee and a case has been registered against the accused. According to the Child Welfare Committee, the child stated that the accused Chera Gagu, called her in his home and raped her on January 27.
