Miss Arunachal Roshni Dada set to dazzle in Miss India pageant

ITANAGAR: Nineteen-year-old reigning Miss Arunachal, Roshni Dada will be representing Arunachal Pradesh in the FBB Colors Femina Miss India 2019, which will be held at Mumbai on June 15.

Roshini got a rousing welcome here after her selection in the FBB Miss India 2019 on Monday. She was selected in the FBB Colors Femina Miss India east zone audition, organized by the Miss India Organization in Assam on March.

Girls from all the northeastern States participated in the event where the audition was held to select one girl from each State to represent their State at the finale of the FBB Colors Femina Miss India 2019.

Hailing from East Kameng district, Roshni is a student of B.Sc Nursing and the proud daughter of Sasung Dada and Sanari Dada of Jeju Dada Village.

Speaking to reporters here at the Arunachal Press Club (APC), Roshni expressed her gratitude to the organizer of Miss Arunachal for conferring her the platform to reach the stage of India’s top beauty pageant. “I still have a long journey to go through and I need the same support as well as love so that I would make my State proud” she said extending her gratefulness to her parents and well-wishers for supporting throughout her journey.

Organizing secretary of Miss Arunachal, Tai Rocket said “From now on we all have to support her in all possible means to encourage her and to make her reach the top”. Beside Roshni, two more girls had also participated in the audition of FBB Femina Miss India 2019 – Dichenla Wangmo Thungon (Miss NEFA 2018 winner) and Apik Dai (Miss Arunachal 2019 Top 20 finalist and Miss NEFA 2017 2nd runner-up). While responding to the query on any support from the State Government, Rocket said “The government has already announced the ‘Miss Arunachal’ event as a State calendar event. Besides that, the departments concerned like State Youth Affairs is extending all financial assistance to the winner.”
