MLA Kardo Nyigor refutes all allegations against (RIDF): Arunachal

ITANAGAR: Likhabali constituency MLA Kardo Nyigor while refuting to the allegations framed against him on the mismanagement of Rural Infrastructure Development Fund (RIDF) funds by the Likhabali Intellectual Forum (LIF) said that all the allegations are baseless and without an iota of truth.

Speaking to this daily on Wednesday, Nyigor said that all the NIT process to the said work in public domain. The information about the work was even published in the leading local daily but due to non-availability of registered class III contractors in the constituency fewer firms participated.

“The firm which was selected is doing his work and there is nothing to be complained about the quality of work,” he said. Clarifying on the allegation on bill payment of Rs 4 lakhs to the executing agency without work, he said that he had recently called upon the Executive Engineer and it was informed that only the work was allotted but no money was paid till now.

Earlier, the LIF had demanded for reshuffle of entire ongoing schemes at earliest, alleging of mismanagement of Rural Infrastructure Development Fund (RIDF) funds by local MLA Kardo Nyigyor and department of Rural Works Department (RWD) on Monday.
