Mountain Terrain Bike ride organized from Ziro to Itanagar

Itanagar: Poper Rides in collaboration with Nature Dwling and Golden Resort Ziro, under Lower Subansiri district of Arunachal Pradesh organized a historic first-ever Mountain Terrain Bike (MTB) ride from Ziro to Itanagar on Wednesday, to promote cycling for a healthier life. All the four participants in the cycle ride – Mudang Sira, Taru Habung, Tage Opo and Chukhu Reelum, were from Lower Subansiri district of the state.

Reelum, who hails from Yazali in the district, was the only female rider.

They managed to reach the capital city in 12 hours and 45 minutes from Ziro.

Earlier, while flagging off the riders, General Secretary of Apatani Youth Association (AYA) Racho Kacho, encouraged the participants by providing lunch and refreshments.
