Nabam Rebia sets March 31 deadline for Indoor Stadium completion in Arunachal

Itanagar: Arunachal Pradesh Land Management Minister Nabam Rebia has set March 31 as the deadline for completion of the much-awaited multipurpose indoor stadium at Yupia, near here.

The minister while inspecting the ongoing works of the indoor stadium directed the executing agency to expedite the construction work and said that the stadium, with seating capacity of 15,000 people, would be a great asset for the district and state.

He also urged the officials to put efforts to make Yupia a model district headquarter and accordingly keep it free from any encroachment and other unplanned activities.

At Doimukh, he inspected the ongoing cement road works and strictly instructed the executing department and the contractors to always maintain the technical standard and not to compromise with the quality of work.

He also visited the inspection bungalow (IB), community health centre (CHC) and the site of the district hospital.

While interacting with the local youth leaders at Yupia, the minister appealed them to always adhere to the technicalities and quality of works keeping in view importance and durability of the projects in the public service.

The minister was accompanied by Papum Pare Deputy Commissioner Dr Joram Beda and other officials, an official release informed here on Thursday.
