National People’s Party (NPP) Appoints Pani Taram As Working President of State Unit

Itanagar: National People’s Party (NPP) president Conrad K Sangma has appointed former MLA Pani Taram as the working president of Arunachal Pradesh unit of the party.

The State unit of NPP on Monday organized a felicitation programme at the party office here, a party release informed.

NPP Arunachal unit president Gicho Kabak congratulated Taram on being appointment as working president and thanked Sangma, who is also the Meghalaya Chief Minister for appointing Taram to assist him and strengthen the party organization in the state.

Kabak also expressed his hope that Taram would definitely carry out his responsibly to move forward the party organization far and wide in the state. He highlighted in details about the achievement of NPP in Arunachal Pradesh within two years.

Taram expressed his gratefulness to Sangma and assured that he would extend his cooperation to build up the party organization in the state in a bigger way as desired by the national President.

He also assured every possible support to strengthen the party organization in the state.

Former Minister Anok Wangsa, vice president Nima Sangey Saling, vice president cum spokesman Rudhum Sindhu also spoke on the occasion among others, the release added.
