National Peoples’s Party On Terror In Poll

Itanagar: The National Peoples’s Party (NPP) on Saturday urged all political parties to refrain from indulging underground elements in electoral politics for overall development of the State. The party’s State unit spokesperson Nima Sangey Saling in a statement appealed the political parties not to involve underground elements during election for the interest of the people of the three affected districts of Tirap, Changlang and Longding. “We should try to gain the sympathy of the people through our hard work and connectivity with the grass root people with our clear vision for the State’s development, peace and harmony in the society. Peace in the society is the key to bring about all round development of the State,” Saling said.
