NCPCR Member Lauds Oju Welfare Association Services

ITANAGAR: Rosy Taba, a member of the National Commission for Protection of Child Right (NCPCR), has appreciated the humanitarian services of the Oju Welfare Association (OWA), particularly for women and rescued children survivors sheltered in children home (CH). Taba is the youngest among six NCPCR members.

During a surprise visit to Oju Welfare Association specialized adoption agency and CH, she interacted with the children. She taught the children about safe touch and unsafe touch but lauded the hygienic condition of the CH and directed CDPO P Moyongn to take steps to upgrade the capacity of the existing girls’ dormitory from 25 to 50.

While interacting with WHL-181 staff, she praised the team activities and urged the members to come up with more innovative ideas for creating awareness in the rural areas across the State.
