New traffic routes in place

ITANAGAR, July 12: The District Administration Capital Complex has made the following traffic arrangements after it was reported by the Assistant Engineer, Naharlagun Sub-Division-IV, PWD, AP, Naharlagun that the wire rope suspension bridge connecting Police Colony and Statistics Colony, Itanagar is in a dilapidated condition and is not traffic worthy for two wheelers. Department is going to take up the works of some repair and maintenance work for a period of 5 (five) days w.e.f13/07/2018 and during the period the suspension bridge will be closed for the vehicular traffic. Therefore, the DA hasissued advisory note for closure of the wire rope suspension bridge connecting Police Colony and Statistics Colony, Itanagar for two wheelers till the maintenance works complete. The DA has also directed the Naharlagun Sub-Division-IV, PWD, AP, Naharlagun ito display banners at the entry point of the aforementioned road.
