No new COVID positive case in Arunachal Pradesh

ITANAGAR: Arunachal Pradesh did not report any fresh COVID-19 cases for the fifth consecutively day. The caseload remained at 16,836. Meanwhile, one more person recuperated on Tuesday, taking the total number of recoveries to 16,776.

The State currently has four active COVID-19 cases, while 56 people have succumbed to the infection so far. The recovery rate has touched 99.64 %, while the positivity ratio stands at 0.02 % and the fatality rate at 0.33 %, said State Surveillance Officer Dr Lobsang Jampa. Altogether 4,04,280 samples have been tested for infection, including 330 on Tuesday.

A total of 27,760 Health and frontline workers have received vaccine shots, informed State Immunization Officer Dimong Padung.
