Northeast Frontier Railway to run 2 express trains between Naharlagun and Tinsukia

Itanagar: The Northeast Frontier Railway (NFR) will run twointercity express trains between Naharlagun and Tinsukia (Assam) via the newly constructed Bogibeel bridge over the Brahmaputra. While one train will run weekly, the other will run five days in a week, informed NFR sources. The inaugural train ran on December 25 while regular services will begin shortly.

While Train No 15908 will leave Naharlagun at 5:30 am every Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday and Saturday to arrive at Tinsukia at 11 am, on the return trip Train No 15907 will leave Tinsukia at 4 pm on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday and Sunday to arrive at Naharlagun at 9:15 pm. The trains will have stoppages at Dhemaji, Gogamukh, North Lakhimpur and Harmuti in Assam, the sources added.
