NSCN cadre apprehended near Kharsang market of Arunachal Pradesh

JAGUN: Based on specific input, Army stationed at Miao in a joint operation with Kharsang Police, and security forces apprehended self-styled 'sergeant major' Sengjong Kimhun of NSCN (R) from near Kharsang market of Arunachal Pradesh at around 5:50 am on February 16. The cadre is a resident of Changlang district.

Sengjong had arrived at the area for extortion purposes, he revealed during interrogation. He had joined the NSCN (R) on October 2, 2019. The insurgent has been handed over to Kharsang Police for further investigations.
