Orientation training on People's Plan Campaign conducted in Longding

LONGDING: A three-day District-level Orientation Training on People's Plan Campaign (PPC) for preparation of Gram Panchayat Development Plan and Zilla Panchayat Development Plan 2023-24 concluded in Longding on Thursday.

During the inaugural session, Bani Lego, DC Longding urged all the departments to attend the training. He said such training would help in formulating more efficient and effective planning. He also urged the stakeholders to participate in the sessions attentively.

Dr Likha Kiran, Assistant Director-cum-Senior Faculty, SIRD emphasized the importance of holding gram sabhas for the development of the society. She urged all the stakeholders to participate in the Gram Sabha.She outlined the nuances of the GPDP and ZPDP.

Training on SPICE model of power devolution to PRIs on 29 subjects was also provided.Officials of line departments also gave presentation on various schemes in their departments.

The orientation programme was conducted by SIRD & PR GoAP with support of the district administration,Longding.
