Pasighat all set to host maiden multilingual writers meet

Itanagar: Pasighat, the centurion town and headquarters of East Siang district in Arunachal Pradesh, is all set to host the maiden multilingual writers meet from November 2 at the premises of College of Horticulture and Forestry.

The two-day event is being organized by the Sahitya Akademi in collaboration with Central Agricultural University Imphal, and Arunachal Pradesh Literary Society (APLS) here.

Reportedly 25 prominent multilingual writers and poets from all parts of the country and many literary dignitaries of the host State would attend the event, informed Group Captain M Panging Pao, East Siang unit secretary of APLS.

This would be the second all India level function being hosted at Pasighat after the recent Senior National Women’s Football tournament, a press release informed.
