Pornography video viral: Class-XII of an HS School in West Siang arrested

ITANAGAR: The Arunachal Pradesh Police has arrested a student for preparing a pornography video and making it viral in social media.

According to police sources, Mohammad Aman, a student of Class-XII of an HS School at Aalo in West Siang district, was arrested by the police following an FIR lodged by the West Siang unit of Arunachal Pradesh Women Welfare Society (APPWS).

The police have registered a case under Section 14 of the POCSO and other relevant sections after identifying the culprit.

The accused is in jail and the girl has also been indentified for further interrogation.

Expressing her anguish and sentiments on such practices among the youths, the APWWS Aalo unit president Marbom Riba Bagra said that students should devote their times in studies and other productive activities than to resort to such dirty activities that can pollute a society.

“Such unhealthy practices which are quite detrimental for the future of young generation will not be tolerated by the women wing at any cost,” she said. The APWWS has appealed to district administration, police and court to give exemplary punishment to nip such crimes in the bud.
