Pre-recruitment training conducted Tezu Brigade in Arunachal Pradesh
TEZU: A pre-recruitment training was conducted from October 1 to November 18 for youth of Namsai and Changlang districts by Chowkham battalion under the aegis of Tezu Brigade came to be a successful one on Tuesday. The forty-five days training was aimed to prepare more than two hundred candidates for the upcoming recruitment rally at Tenga, Arunachal Pradesh. Chowkham battalion had established training cells at Tezu, Chowkham, Mahadevpur and Innao for the same. Civil administration assisted the Army in conducting the classes for writing exams. The training is another prime example of Army authorities and civil administration working in tandem to motivate youth to join the Indian Army. Candidates attending the training were very happy with the outcome and showed confidence in appearing for the exam.
They acknowledged the efforts put in by Chowkham battalion and its camps in grooming them physically and mentally for the rally. They were sanguine that it will be of great help.
“This training yet again has put on display the sincerity of Army authorities in bringing the youth to main stream, maintaining peace and tranquility in the region and enhancing the bonhomie with the local population,” a youth trainee said.
