Programme on motivating APPSCCE candidates held in Itanagar

ITANAGAR: In a bid to boost the morale of recently qualified candidates of 42nd Dambuk Assembly Constituency for Arunachal Pradesh Public Service Combined Competitive Examination (APPSCCE) mains, an interactive and motivational programme titled "Ro: Puune Mission APPSCCE" was conducted by the MLA 42nd Dambuk at Itanagar on Sunday.

Speaking during the programme, MLA Gum Tayeng exhorted the aspirants of APPSCCE to work hard and said that dreams will not come true without hard work.

Informing that the interactive session was an effort to provide a platform to civil service aspirants from Dambuk constituency to interact with experienced and senior civil servants and to keep them motivated, Tayeng stressed that everyone should take benefit from such programme. She said to continue this initiative in future too as a token of love & encouragement to the civil service aspirants of Dambuk Constituency as an honour of her husband Late Jomin Tayeng, first IAS from the State. "Coming from a very poor background and after becoming an orphan at a very young age, education was what kept him going in life", she said.

Commissioner PWD Bilatee Pertin also shared words of encouragement to the aspirants. He stressed on time management and early preparations for the civil services exam. He also emphasized on regular newspaper reading and told them to read as much as possible. Secretary to Chief Minister Sonam Chombey also advised the aspirants to work with dedication and determination with a positive approach. Stating that clearing the prelims is just the beginning, Sonam told them to prepare well considering the completions. He also said that the aspirants should not confine themselves to the State level Civil Services, but also eye for UPSC and other such examinations.
