Rashtriya Poshan Maah: Anemia Screening Camp At Government School, Chimpu

ITANAGAR: Continuing the month-long celebration of “Rashtriya Poshan Maah”, the Urban ICDS project, Itanagar organized anemia screening camp at the Government Secondary School, Chimpu on Thursday. Around 155 adolescents girls and women were screened. Beside anemia screening, screening of NCDs, sensitization on anemia, menstrual hygiene, nutrition for adolescent girls, awareness on good touch and bad touch, sexual harassment and women help line was organized by inviting resource person from PHC Chimpu and Women Help line.

The camp was organized in convergence with the Department of health and family welfare, Government of Arunachal Pradesh. Dr. Sorang Tabin in charge, PHC Chimpu along with Dr Alung Gyati and other staffs of PHC chimpu conducted all the screenings.
