Roshni Dada crowned Miss Arunachal 2019

ITANAGAR: Nineteen-year-old Roshni Dada from East Kameng district has been crowned Miss Arunachal 2019 in a glittering grand finale held at Nyokum Lapang, Itanagar on Wednesday night. Anya Rido, 21, from Kra-Daadi district and Ephisia Pertin, 21, from Lower Dibang Valley district were adjudged as first and second runner-ups respectively. A B.Sc nursing student from North East Nursing College, Nirjuli, Roshni wants to work for women empowerment. On winning the coveted title, she expressed happiness and extended gratitude to everyone who had supported her in her endeavour.

She succeeds Osin Mosu as the Miss Arunachal 2019. The winner walked home with a brand new car while both the runners-up were given a scooty each.

Apart from the title, the contestants who won the sub-titles were Likha Sila (Miss Congeniality), Ephisia Pertin (Miss Talent), Maidyamsai Tailu (Miss Photogenic), Hinsen Lama (Miss Cat Walk), Anya Rido (Miss Beautiful Smile) and Tinu Lusi (Miss Popular).

Altogether, 20 contestants from across the State participated in the beauty pageant.
