Rubu Tadii stresses on policy to bring about Green Revolution

ITANAGAR: International Gandhi Peace Ambassador (IGPA) from Arunachal Pradesh, Rubu Tadii attended the first International Gandhi Peace Ambassador Summit -2019 in Kathmandu on Wednesday.

The event, organized by Gandhi Peace Foundation, Nepal from October 7-9, was attended by Peace Ambassadors from across the world. The summit started with rich tributes being paid to Mahatma Gandhi.

Various issues concerning humanity, peace and climate change were discussed in detail.

Addressing the gathering, Tadii highlighted about the Green Revolution policy of Arunachal Pradesh and various measures initiated by the current government to increase the green cover of the State.

During the summit, Peace Ambassadors Dr Shyam Pitroda from USA, Dr Kakasheb Tumne, South East Asia, Dr S Monty, London, Advocate Dindaya Rijul, Nepal, RK Barua, Bangladesh and Dr Rohidas Waghmare, shared their views.
