ROING: Hundreds thronged the 11th Sarkar Aapke Dwar Camp camp conducted at the General Ground, Roing, on the occassion of Republic Day on Saturday. In the health camp, conducted during the day, 287 patients registered and were given free health check-up by the Health Department. Eighteen beneficiaries were provided with new LPG connections under UJJAWALA scheme and 18 ration cards were renewed by the Food and Civil Supplies Department.
APEDA sold 470 energy efficient bulbs and 3 fans to 139 beneficiaries. The Labour and Employment Department distributed blankets to 35 beneficiaries and issued 124 labour registration forms. Jan Suvidha branch of DA issued 131 forms and received 24 forms. Forty seven 47 farmer’s registrations were done. The Department of Animal Husbandry and Veterinary treated 439 cases by providing supplements and medicines to 60 owners.
Twenty five weavers identity cards were issued and free cotton yarn was distributed to 24 beneficiaries by the Textile and Handicrafts Departments.
