ZIRO: The third Sarkar Aapke Dwar (SAD) of Lower Subansiri District was held at Government Secondary School, Pitapool on Saturday and was attended by hundreds of villagers along with children.

Taking part in the programme MLA 16th Yachuli Likha Saaya termed the SAD programme as a noble initiative by the Chief Minister Pema Khandu. “This pro-public move has re-enforced the public faith on the government functionaries,” Saya said.

“With services like issuance of various government certificates like ST, PRC, income, ADHAAR etc. and free medical camps in remote places have saved the poor public not only their time but also from transportation and financial hurdles,” he added.

He further advised the public to download the ModiApp to learn more about various welfare schemes for people of all sections of the society.

The MLA also participated in the EVM APPT demonstrations which have been launched by the government to ensure transparency during voting.

Saya was accompanied by DC Chukhu Takar, ADC JT Obi and General Secretary, Bhartiya Yuva Morcha Joram Tat. Besides stalls by all the departments, free medical camps by AYUSH and DHS, free gas distribution under PMUY, free yarn distribution, free seeds and farming tools distribution by the Agriculture and Horticulture departments were the highlights of the program.
