School safety programme conducted by 12th NDRF at Doimukh in Pohumara government higher secondary school

ITANAGAR: The 12th NDRF at Doimukh under the command of CMO (SG), Dr GM Sharma conducted a school safety programme in the government higher secondary school in Pohumara on Monday. Sharma in his short speech explained to the students the dos and don’ts during an earthquake. He asked the students to learn from the demonstration showcased by the NDRF personnel. Later the NDRF team also demonstrated the use of medical kits aid technique, school safety drill, emergency and non-emergency moves during earthquakes. The team also showcased making of improvised rafts, life jackets and stretchers during any emergency like floods.
