See Pics: Bollywood Superstar Salman Khan promotes Adventure Tourism in Arunachal Pradesh

Mechuka: Bollywood superstar Salman Khan was on a one-day visit to the North-East to inaugurated the Adventure festival.

As per reports, Salman who is the ambassador for Arunachal Pradesh tourism had attended the Mechuka Adventure Festival in Arunachal Pradesh which kicks off from today.

The Bollywood star reached Dibrugarh Mohanbari Airport in the morning hours and from there, took a chopper to visit Mechuka.

Reportedly, Bollywood superstar Salman Khan is known for cycling on the roads of Mumbai. For a change, today he flew to Mechuka, close to the China border in Arunachal Pradesh and cycled with Arunachal Pradesh Chief Minister Pema Khandu and Union Minister of State for Home Affairs Kiren Rijiju.

Salman has been in good terms with the north-eastern state and its Union Minister Kiren Rijiju ever since a little Arunachalee guy Matin Rey Tengu has featured in his film ‘Tubelight’.

The superstar Salman also inaugurated the second edition of the MTB Arunachal Mountain bicycle race.
