Skill development training for workers held in Arunachal Pradesh

AALO: The Skill Development Training for Labourers was on Thursday organized by Joint Working Committee of Arunachal Pradesh Trade Unions (JWCAPTU) and All Arunachal Pradesh Workers Union (AAPWU) under the initiative of Registering Officer (RO) Arunachal Pradesh Building & Other Construction Workers welfare Board (APB&OCWWB) Jumnu Ligo PP Tourist Lodge.

Attending the inaugural training session as the chief guest, the West Siang Deputy Commissioner Sode Potom exhorted the trainees to take full advantage of the training imparted free of cost for various trades.

He said that skill training is a must to cope up with the changing needs and asked the Resource persons to impart best possible training to all members of labour community. DIPRO Gijum Tali, who attended the function as Guest of Honour stressed on disseminating the flagship programme and policies of central and state government to labour community. Meanwhile, president JWCAPTU Rinto Ete dwelt at length on activities being taken up by the unions for the welfare of the Labours in the district. He also highlighted the details of training to be imparted to the participants.
