Solo cycle rider calls on Arunachal Pradesh Governor Lieutenant General K T Parnaik

ITANAGAR: Mountaineer and athlete from Madhya Pradesh Aasha Malviya, who is on a solo cycle ride, ‘Sampoorn Bharat Yatra’, called on Arunachal Pradesh Governor Lieutenant General K T Parnaik at Raj Bhawan on Friday. Malviya, who hails from Nataram village under Rajgarh district in Madhya Pradesh, covered a distance of 14,300 km through 15 states of India with messages of women’s safety and empowerment.

Arunachal Pradesh is the 16th state where Malviya visited. The governor commended Malviya for her mission and advised her to also spread the message of Swachh Bharat, girl education, and national unity during her ride. Malviya informed that her ‘yatra’, after covering a distance of 25,000 km, would conclude in the National Capital on August 15.
