Tarin Dakpe Warns Against Misuse Of Funds

RAGA: MLA of 25- Raga Assembly constituency Tarin Dakpe in his maiden visit to Kamle district after being elected as MLA, called a coordination meeting of all the heads of departments and the officials at the district Circuit House on Tuesday. Dakpe said that all the infrastructure and other development schemes of the constituency will be finalized only on priority and sustainability basis. "We will also encourage and seek the opinion of the people at the grassroots for the finalization," he said while cautioning against misuse and wastage of government funds. He said that the education scenario needs a total refurbishing. With 32 out of the 117 schools having no enrolment is a matter of concern. The poor performance in the board exams is another big concern, he added while encouraging the teaching to traverse that extra mile for the benefit of the student community.

Speaking on improving the health sector in the constituency, Dakpe said that besides infrastructure development, awareness is a key factor for improving the health statistics of the district. He assured to look into the posting of allopathic doctors in the district.

"I shall leave no scope for any anti-social elements to deter the development activities of Kamle district. We will have to work as a team without any political biases," he said.

Kamle DC Moki Loyi exhorted the HoD's to work as a team to accelerate development activities in the district. "With the government scrapping SADA and SIDF, the development schemes will be bottom up approach on priority basis, ascertained by the local MLA," he further added.
